Plague

Teach me
Forgiveness
Speechless--like the water
on the sandiest of beaches
smoke the air for anxiety
curse the sky because of society
Illuminate those broken bodies
and pray for insanity
let it sink in
infest
infect
and flood

Each cell that surrounds your mechanism
all the blood pumping in your artifice
but when you feel it, that majority
circularizing your tight skin
until the organ squeezes you and
suffocates
waiting for your surrender
constricting
un-bearable pressure
as you begin to hate
but you can pick your fate
remain in control
of the plague
that corrupts your innerness
Explore the maze
that prods each inch of your capsule
that you call hope
let your spirit breed
under the weight of the roof
because all you need is find
the sane.
